Control plane
Your sessions, the directory of your machines, and the leases that tie one to the other. Runs on Cloudflare.

Where the agent lives: an always-on machine of yours. Model keys and the conversation stay here, and the model gets no shell on it.

Outpost
Where the work happens: a Mac mini, a GPU box, a VM in your VPC. A small worker dials out, works inside a leased folder, and is free to sleep.
Every action the agent takes is one of seven.
A session leases one folder on one machine. The homestead sends each step down that lease, the worker runs it there, and the result comes back.

- The worker opens the connection. Nothing on your network listens.
